Mono Monday:light

What a lovely day. Spent the day at a spa with my sister Kate. We did an aqua journey which included an outside jacuzzi, it was very windy and cold but the sun shone. We finished the day with afternoon tea after a lovely back, neck, leg and foot massage.
Came home and my new 50mm lens arrived so I had to try it out. I decided I would spend the car service money on something special and this is it. I want to improve my portraits and bokeh shots and I think this may help. My light shot is a torch wrapped in bubble wrap and with my blue lights in the background, it looks really good in colour too, a blip another day maybe.
