Saucon Rail Trail ....

We went to the Saucon Rail Trail to see if it the path had been plowed or shoveled out from last Saturday's storm.

It hadn't.

So we walked up the road instead of the path .... looking for red squirrels.

We didn't see any. 

However, I did see this oak leaf still hanging on.  If fact most of the leaves were still on the tree. 

We returned home a little disappointed. 


Extra: I noticed the squirrels in the back yard digging down through the snow to get to whatever was down there ..... I assume it must be peanuts.  How do they know they are there?!?  What an amazing sense of smell they must have!
