Ginger

D found himself to be lacking a warm enough jumper/fleece (having forgotten how chill it can be on the edge of the Cotswolds) so we nipped into Banbury and found a bargain in M & S. I'd still rather they hadn't knocked down the pub my great-grandparents ran in order to build it, mind - it would have been nice to raise a glass to them there 130 years later.

Then we picked up L and went over to Moreton-in-Marsh to look at an exhibition of posters, some of which I really liked (Picasso's Cote d'Azur one for starters). There was some other interesting art in there as well. None of us having that class of funds, however, we went for a late lunch and then to the hardware shop for various useful items.

Then back to Sibford via the expensive pottery in Wychford, where L was hoping to find a replacement for an Xmas pot she'd bought for J that had been knocked over and broken by a clumsy badger! Fortunately they found one of the same type in their sale that was considerably cheaper than the original. While they were sorting it out, we wandered round their craft/gift shop, where I was startled to find this huge ginger feller glaring at me from amongst the tweed artefacts.
