Ukraina

I liked the deep colours in this shot of the Hotel Ukraina outlined against an early evening sky.  Some trivia:  when built in the 1950s it was the tallest hotel in the world at 198 meters (34 floors).  Now ranked only at #37 and dwarfed by the current tallest, the Marquis Dubai, at 355 meters (76 floors).

I've blipped it several times, on New Year's Eve 2014 and on 8 January 2015.
