Buckets of rain
Back in taipei where the temperature is surprisingly Scottish...enough rain to be homely and a fleece hat under a hood the latest disguise. Trundling words floundering in distracted song and sandals swapped for walking boots as my rucksack after two years of abusive escapades fell finally into ragged pieces...the camera more active and hopeful than focused but the change from flooded cycle paths under pools of ineffectual light at least offers up some small difference. And the approaching new year, the quest for stinky tofu and the vague paraphernalia of the passing days bring changes.
These distances offering some filtered definition and a lexicon altering from the compression of the northern winter, vague intrusions into the hermetic silences of hibernation...
