Melting

A week ago we were digging out from over two feet of snow. Today, temps rose dramatically and melting snow transformed many roads into streams under bright blue skies.

I chose that image because it reminded me of the type of photos a colleague of mine used to take; she passed on friday after a tough battle with cancer. So, Carmen: here's to you!
