A little more snow overnight, and slight thaw through the day. Near windless, unlike yesterday, with some misty patches about. Very much the quiet before the storm, as the next one's expected tomorrow evening. Forecast winds gusting to over 70mph (in Inverness) sound distinctly ominous. If that becomes reality, it'll be higher than that on the Kessock Bridge, and in the hills.
