Trouble with the bubble

The North Sea oil industry has seen a decline in operations of late. As a consequence, a number of vessels and habitation rigs have been withdrawn from the oil fields to 'Winter' the slump in prices. 

A few sit out the roller-coaster of Atlantic storms off Sanday, perhaps on their way to Scapa Flow in Mainland Orkney.

From Lopness, the dunes are illuminated by the volume of traffic, with this beaut looking more like a Christmas tree.
