Keeping things under control

Conservation work party for Cumbria Wildlife Trust, at Barkbooth in the Winster Valley. The rain kept away, most of the time, and we managed to clear and burn a large amount of hawthorn scrub, creating more open areas for the high brown fritillaries in the summer (we hope).
