Lima Llama
Today, we visited two "Huacas" in the city of Lima -- ancient archaeological sites which were built by the early Peruvian people. They were really interesting to see -- millions of adobe bricks piled together to form temples, ceremonial sites, dwellings, and meeting places. However, not particularly photogenic (unless you're wild about a lot of khaki coloured bricks ... if so, see the extra shot!). So, instead I share with you a Lima llama -- the pack animal of the Andes, related to the camel.
About two thirds of the passengers on our ship disembarked today, and a whole new crowd came on board for the second leg of our adventure from Lima to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lots of new faces to get to know!
