My Five-A-Day!!
I’m not sure if this is what doctors have in mind when they talk about the importance of having your “Five-A-Day”, but as (after months of procrastination!!) I’m finally following medical advice and starting on the Low FODMAP Diet tomorrow, this is my “Five-A-Day” for today! It’s a case of eat it while you can!!
From tomorrow I won’t be able to eat any of these delicious goodies (most left over from Christmas), but the items I’m going to find hardest to give up are onions and garlic, two of the staple ingredients of most vegetarian dishes. But my Doctor assures me that I’ll feel so much better that the sacrifice will be well worth it. Time will tell, wish me luck!!
(Not a very inspiring blip today, but a very personal one for me to look back on... Sorry about the temptation Heidi, but don’t worry, I’ll be joining you on the cardboard diet from tomorrow!!)
