Oystercatchers.

..the snow that XC Weather forecast for us didn't arrive, apart from the odd flurry..

Listened to the Archers after breakfast, and then did the weather report for the newsletter. Start of a new year,so new sheets to format in my spreadsheet. And improvements to make from ideas gathered through the year.. Looked out of the window to do the Garden bird count for the RSPB but didn't see many birds. Starlings, pigeons, seagulls, and a sparrow.. And a thrush..

Took Tanni down the croft and planted 18 rhubarb plants grown from seed a couple of years ago, they've been in 4" pots, and were just starting to put out new leaves. Planted them on the patch below the raspberries (still have more of those to plant to)..

These oystercatchers were at the far end of the beach, and flew off soon after taking this shot. And then into N's park to give Tanni a "drying off" run.. Extra shot taken as they flew off..
