It's Grim Up North

Somewhere between Carlisle and Newcastle.

Pennines whooshing by in extras.

Visited the Photographic Angle exhibition.four of my images were there. Exhibition was in disused office block, hence unheated and extremely cold - 5 degrees, which didn't make us want to hang about. Prints were larger than appropriate for cameras with small sensors, which I thought was strange. So most photos in the exhibition weren't as crisp as they could have been. Enoyable though and the dog was allowed in too. His first exhibition.

And the excellent Old Forge Tea Rooms in Greenhead on Hadrians Wall was open at 3pm on a Sunday in January. I don't think its ever been shut when we've dropped by. Maybe it never closes.
