Daffs and BRIGHT COLOUR!!!!

Daffs for Texann who loves spring flowers....we must get her over one Spring so she can delight in them at every turn!

I have been a bit absent for a few days as lots going on. I collected new specs which are going to take a bit of getting used to as my prescription has moved more than I'd realised and everything is feeling a bit 3Dish! I managed 2 hours on saturday with them on and 4 hours today so not bad going.

We had 3 hours tripping out to a Landrover dealer yesterday that had a secondhand car that met our required spec, then three hours at the dealer and then four hours home....we were knackered! It's another Discovery. It's one of the few cars Rob fits in comfortably, which is really important given the amount of driving he does as part of his work, seats 7 comfortably which has proved handy on occasion, and when not seating 7 has loads of room for all Rob's kit and caboodle to run his courses when he travels. The last one gave us 9 excellent years of service and this one is 2 years old so hopefully we will get 7 to 8 years out of it which will take us up to semi- retirement. By then there might be a hybrid car that Rob can fit in. That's our goal. We did try the Outlander with fingers crossed but Rob looked like a giant in it...even the sales guy agreed!

In the 9 years lots about the Disco has changed so we are sitting today with user guides learning about the new features...some of which are very useful. I'll try to get a nice shot of the car in the village next week.
