Beside the sea!

A wet Whitby!
Who cares when you are with friends, and having a laugh!
Staying at the Mallyan Spout Hotel in Goathland.
Chilling out now before going down to dinner tonight.
Well actually more like " warming up"!
MrC watching football. ( What a surprise!)
So a great opportunity for me to post a blip.

We went into Whitby and had a walk round, and drink in a lovely old pub. ( can't remember the name)
Despite the rain, there were plenty of people about.

We are hoping the weather improves tomorrow as we are going to walk to the Mallyan Spout waterfall after breakfast.
At least there should be plenty of water after all this rain!

For those interested, Goathland is where they filmed " Heartbeat".
The hotel we are staying at was built in 1892.
Present owners have had it since 2003.
It has been tastefully refurbished, keeping the character, and restored to its former glory.

Very sad news this morning.
RIP Sir Terry Wogan.
We will miss you.
