Big Garden Birdwatch

The RSPB organise a Big Garden Bird Watch each year, which now has a great series of data on the population changes of birds in British gardens. I've not taken part every year (its been going since 1979, and I've spent several years living abroad) but I probably have done most of them.  The weather wasn't fit to take any bird photos today so this will have to represent the day. I spotted a couple of long-tailed tits on Friday  for the first time this winter, but typically they didn't show during the hour I was surveying today.
