The Giant Ant

We've had a cold day, it was fabulous!! :o).

Also very windy as we feel the last of the effects of the cyclone in the north and a lot of cloud streaming by all day which refused to drop any rain!!

Went for a jaunt to the river late afternoon with Toto and nearly got blown away!!

Noticed the bull ants were busy everywhere we went and spent some time trying to get a shot of one and his shadow. Most of them were running too fast but this one seemed a bit sick and slow so he suited my purposes perfectly! :o)
