Good choice Wendy!

Yesterday I set the counter going for my hour at the bedroom window, duly recording the birds for the annual RSPB Birdwatch and was rewarded with a tree full of blue, great and coal tits (much that I love them!) with the odd robin and blackbird thrown in - not very exciting!  When I returned from feeding cats and rabbits this morning I took a look out of the window and within ten minutes there were chaffinches, a goldcrest, collared doves, a dunnock and the jay!  Thankfully the jay returned several times to raid the squirrel feeder, and I was able to line up the camera to catch him as he is very skittish and won't hang about if there is any movement from the house.  More jayblips here.
