Yellow Dahlia

Day off so I'm at Dads today. He's been out planting, working on his gardens since 7:30 am at Jo's place. Very glad to see him out working, but he is aware he has to take his time and not rush things or he'll hurt himself.

The story with the Yellow Dahlia's is back in 2004 when Mom was sick and in the hospital for chemotherapy, dad went out and bought these on sale four for $1 each. Unknown what color, Joanne asked "what colors are they?" while in her bed at the hospital, Dad replied "No idea, I guess you'll have to wait & see when they grow" She did get her chance to see them bloom as all four were yellow as they laughed, hoping they would be 4 different colors.
