The Eye of the Beholder

 Went for a short walk this morning in the field across the street. I was trying to photograph one particular tree, but I kept stepping on these. This is Henbit. It is a member or the mint family, classified as a weed, but I think it's quite pretty, so I decided to photograph it instead of the tree today. I read that it is edible, though I don't plan on trying it myself and that it is also called Deadnettle, as opposed to Stinging Nettle---because it doesn't sting....
