........ friend and then a bit of culture!
Turandot by Puccini, set in China a princess wanting revenge on her betrayed ancestor. Love wasn't the top of her list ( to begin with ) her way of choosing a suitable bow was to give him 3 riddles to answer if he was wrong then he would be beheaded! Suppose it's one way of choosing a husband?? Apparently Puccini only wrote the first 2 acts and died before it was finished, but one of his colleagues found his notes and finished the opera. It was an early birthday present for me, throughly enjoyed the evening and the company, thank you so much " C " . She is someone I call a real friend , one of many , we may not have seen each other for months but when we do meet it is as if we saw each other the day before . We have had a lovely day today but not sure what tomorrow will bring!
