Pimms O'clock!

I managed to get tickets for No.1 Court in the ballot & so today Jenny & I made our way to SW19.

We made pack lunches, Jen rustled up some amazing wraps, we conncocted & bottled up some rather potent Pimms & packed our brollies just in case. It was a fab day & it really nice to take Jen to watch some amazing live tennis for the first time. She's really got into it, so i couldn't be more thrilled.

Whilst there, we were lucky enough to spy Tim Henman, Lindsey Davenport, Serena & Venus Williams' Dad & Ralf Little. On No.1 today we saw the Girl's Final where Bouchard from Canada won. We then watched both the mix-doubles semi-finals with Zimonjic/ Srebotnik v Bryan/ Raymond & Bryan/ Huber v Paes/ Vesnina. We saw some great tennis & the doubles had some real exciting action in it. Jen only napped a few times ;), but she did have really good time, I the Pimms might have had something to do with it. Once we left No.1 we wondered over to Court 3 & happened upon the final games of the Cash/ Woodforde v McNamara/ McNamee. It was a fun few games with lots of laughs.

Another great day spent at Wimbledon. It's something that cannot be missed! And the rain only set in again as play drew to a close, so it couldn't have been better.
