Continuing my experiments using sodium hydroxide to etch the lino surface before inking and printing. These three blocks were coated in the etching medium (a mix of caustic soda and wallpaper paste) for one, two and three hours respectively. I used sellotape as an etching 'resist' to create the unetched areas on each of the three blocks.
