A pepper

I had a very busy morning shovelling snow, taking youngest swimming, doing the washing, taking youngest to Taekwondo, more washing, trip to library...so, I spent most of the afternoon drawing. I used to give up so easily when I drew. If something started to look a bit crap it would go straight in the bin. I don't do that so much now and the biggest lesson I've learned over the past year is that art takes determination and diligence (Claire Harrigan said that - she's new to me, found her in the library today...well, not her...her book...very talented artist). But anyway, determination, diligence and for me, patience....hmmmm....patience....I don't have so much of that, but I'm working on it :-)
