Earthy

There has been a lot of this but, inexplicably, a lot more of the other.  The swimming went well, and so did the three sharing a delicious sharing platter (capers the new favourite), but the aftermath of lunch, and the bits in between have been a bit cranky. 

We're hunkered down with the fire on.  We haven't had the normal sunny snow aftermath, just the tail end of yesterday's wind and continued flurries.  brrr.  

A couple of centimetres on the ground - enough to provide a cover, and enough to make it slippery.
