FLOWER FRIDAY

Storm Gertrude has arrived and lingered all day.  The wind has been fierce.  All is well here but there has been a tree down in the village and certain roads are closed to high sided vehicles.

Sore throat and headache have been bad today.  I had planned on going to Newcastle but with the weather being wild and me not feeling 100% I decided to stay at home in the warm.

I did pop out into the back garden to take my blip shot.  There is just one plant in bloom at the moment so this flower was my only choice for Flower Friday.  Not sure what its called. Lucky to get such a clear shot in the strong wind.  I added an HDR effect on Picasa.
