Hesketh Park, Southport

A day out with SueT123. We parked at the park and ride but only did the park bit, we walked instead down the prom to the pier. A lovely blue sky and no rain but it was certainly windy! 

We headed in land along the pier to Lord Street and found a cafe for some hot drinks. We carried on to Hesketh Park and all around the lake and through the park. It was then time for lunch so we walked back and found a nice cafe.  

We walked back along the pier and prom, with the wind even stronger and in our faces. Approx 4 miles altogether. I then introduced Sue to a bit of geocaching near the car park! 

A good day, with lots of time to talk.
