Perhaps the worst is over?

This was the scene in Fryup Dale mid afternoon today, the wind was so strong i retreated to the car and shot this through the passenger window as the car rocked, even though it was parked!
At least as you can see the sky was clearing and after a very windy return journey over Blakey Ridge, the lower roads to Malton were much less windy.
