Flowering quince

Today's the day ........................... to be ahead of yourself

There are lots of buds on the quince bush - which is very early.

I usually think of them as appearing around the beginning of March - but then there are quite a few plants in flower this year well ahead of themselves.  If it carries on at this rate, there won't be anything left to flower in the summer .........................
