Defender

Today the last ever Land Rover Defender was produced in England. Defenders are ubiquitous, a little piece of British history, an icon.

I'm sure we'll see them trundling around for many years to come but it's a sad day for all those enthusiasts out there.

I've driven a few, traveled many miles in one and I can't say it's the most comfortable of experiences, nevertheless I still think it's a sad day.
