Friendly Visitor

Feeling a bit better today than I did yesterday, although my throat is even sorer, but the dripping eyes and nose have dried up a bit:-)  I was able to enjoy my birthday cards and gifts, including a juicer from my daughter and son-in-law, which has given me great fun today (see Extra).  Not a piece of fruit or vegetable left in the house, but we are full of healthy juice:-)

Gertrude has kept us at home as there doesn't seem much point in adding to the damaged cars caused by branches falling on them!  Was very pleased to see this little robin who dropped by to say hello.  We had hoped to visit the Red Kite Centre at Argaty near Doune, but it wasn't the weather to be standing outdoors to watch birds.  

Going out for dinner this evening to a local restaurant, so hoping to get there and back safely.  Will catch up with you all later.
