Flower Friday

Back to the normal damp, grey and gusty winter today. After yesterday's splendid blue skies it's a bit meh, but at least we're dodging the worst of Gertrude. Don't they seem to come think and fast now we've got names for them?

But the weather did give me a chance to play with lighting a bit. I want to fight back against the mid-winter habit of snapping rather than photographing, and this lily (taken from a lovely bouquet living on the kitchen windowsill), is helping - or at least not hindering.

And later this evening it's Star Wars time, along with a meal at my eldest's house. life is good.
