Sunlight and red

I left this cactus on the table the other day when I was trying to get a good photo.  This morning just as the sun came up over the trees it hit the spot where this was sitting.   I put my dark green chair cushion behind and started shooting, made some adjustments in the camera (underexposed down to -2.    Handheld, 50mm.  No editing, just a crop.

Another learning experience, a different shot in the extras.

A beautiful day and warming up, heading out with the dog to do a little hike about 30 miles for home.
