Srebrenica

Every week in parliament there are exhibitions and this week in addition to the Gathering the Voices exhibition I was sponsoring, there was another one about Srebrenica and the atrocities that took place there during the Balkans war.

Robert McNeill MBE, who worked in Bosnia after the war trying to identify the 8,500 bodies found in mass graves took up painting after he retired and it was a real privilege to get time to speak to him about his experiences. The paintings he brought to the parliament were about his memories of that time.
