Surprise!

At the end of the day I was surprised by a colleague who lured me into the staffroom on the premise of a broken window. Rushing in to survey the damage I was taken completely by surprise, instead of cracked glass I discovered the whole staff gathered to present me with a lovely card, generous gift and a traditional handmade Hawaiian lei. There was also a cake with mercifully only a few candles and singing. There may also have been a few tears... 

I am blessed to work with an amazing team!

Following a few afterwork drinkies I got home to discover a very welcome bottle of fizz!
