An American Robin

I was catching a plane home later today so I only had a short while to spare in the morning. I decided to go to the Morgan Library which at 36th and Madison was just a few blocks from my hotel. The library was really interesting but as I was leaving I spotted this bird outside. I asked someone what it was and was told a robin! Nothing like the UK version! Apparently the US version is a kind of thrush.
