Jo Brand walks into Liverpool

Comedian Jo Brand finished her 150-mile coast-to-coast walk for Sport Relief on schedule after braving 70mph winds and horizontal rain.

Brand, 58, said she took on the seven-day charity challenge as she wanted to show "fat, old women" that they can walk.

The walk from the Humber Bridge to Liverpool has already raised £655,481 for the charity.
