White!

Today I left for Washington DC on an earlier flight than I normally work. Usually I leave on a late afternoon flight which this time of year means taking off in the dark and landing in DC in the dark. This flight left at noon and we flew in daylight the whole way - a nice change!

As we approached Washington DC we had beautiful views of the snow covered landscape after their big Storm Jonas from last weekend. The Extra photo is of the Potomac River which you can see is partially frozen!
