Sky Mask

Most of the day has been taken up attending the funeral and wake of an old friend, Tony, who sadly died of a heart attack at just 65.

Our sons went to school together and for a couple of seasons I helped him run the youth football team they played for. We also played cricket together for a number of years; it comes as a shock that someone who has always been so fit should pass away so suddenly. Another reminder of the importance of making the most of each day.

He was an avid West Ham fan so the service finished with a rendition of I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles but as I coincidentally linked to a version of that not long ago

I thought I'd link to the song that kicked the service off

We took a walk to clear our heads and stretch our legs late this afternoon and I was taken by the mask-like nature of these clouds, coincidentally over the local cemetery.
