Wash day Blues!

First thing this morning the sun was shining, the wind blowing and a dry day was forecast. I did two loads of washing and put them on the line.

It started to rain (typically) but as the wind was blowing I left it out.  This sight greeted me - the retractable washing line had come loose. Everything was wet and muddy - jumpers on the soil of the raised bed, sheets on the soil  of the veg patch .......

I also dropped a jam jar and smashed it (fortunately empty). I'm hoping that things don't go in threes!
