Escaping Hosta

These little hosta blooms were escaping by the steps. I actually liked the brown wood with the hosta and that is why I chose this one.

Another scorcher of a day today, I know many of you are dealing with damp cool weather. If I could send a bit of summer warmth your way, I certainly would. I am having to wait until late in the evening for photos, it's so hot that everything is either resting in shade or just wilting during the day. The hosta are looking a bit ragged, but these new blooms seem to be holding up well.

Keep fingers crossed, there is thunder & lightning in the west right now, it could bring the possibility of some rain.
