Working from home, allowing a quick forage to the cheesemonger. For bread, not their pricey cheese.
Then out - another film - The Room, up at the Cameo. Terrific performances particularly from the wee lad, but after a tense and excellent first half it just all dissipated and it seemed it didn't quite know where to go. But good to sit afterwards and discuss in the comfy bar, on one of the comfy sofas.
Then onwards! The Shandon Fusiliers Philosophical Society of course. And we were joined awhile by Christine Kydd, the celebrated singer. Yes indeed. By the end of the evening we seemed to have planned an outing. Newcastle v West Brom! Way hey!!!
