At the Spark Museum

We have an unusual and unique museum here in Bellingham called the Spark Museum. http://www.sparkmuseum.org/ It came about because of two men named Jonathan who each had extensive collections. One was all about radios. The other about the history of electricity. Together they make for a fascinating experience.

My brother Dave was up for the day after he dropped his kids at the airport. We played several games of Carcassonne and then went downtown to visit two special places that are quite near each other. The first was Mindport where Dave immersed himself in elegantly made experiments. Think "Exploratorium" and old wooden toys of high quality combined. http://www.mindport.org/ Then we went to the Spark Museum. Much fun.

Later we brought Helena home where we all had dinner before going to one of the most unusual concerts we've ever been to by a group called "A Roomful of Teeth." http://www.roomfulofteeth.org/ We met Nora, Judy and Rick at the concert. It was a Dayful of Fun.
