A walk in the mist
We walked from Gebbies Pass to the Sign of the Packhorse hut this afternoon. The clouds were low, and for some of the time we were subjected to drizzle and light rain, but sheltered from the wind for most of the way, it was very pleasant.
It is unbelievably green here for this time of year. I don't ever remember a January as wet as this one. The bonus is that we don't need to water the garden. The grass needs cutting regularly, though, and is much thicker than usual. It responds exceptionally well to wet and warm.
