Windfalls

Except for feeding the birds, I haven't been out today.
So it was a choice of wind fallen apples we brought back with us yesterday, or rain on the window, and wind blowing the trees.
Decided on the apples as it was a much more cheerful photo, which I think we needed today.

After cleaning the bathroom and other household chores, I made an apple pie,
and cooked the rest of the apples to freeze for later. Although the apples didn't look too good on the outside, inside they were perfect.

Nice and cosy now, with the fire blazing away.
As well as apples we also brought a large bag of logs back too!
