Fame in the family

Our granddaughter Eva was in the centre pages of the Guernsey press today. She was playing netball in the Island youth netball leagues. She is very young, her birthday is in August, and she is in year 4, but she was playing with years 5 and 6. She loves netball and her Mum does too.
Other news.
I went to the pain specialist today, and he was a very nice man, he gave me hope! It could still be a long journey, my husband pushed him on the point, and he's suggesting a year, as opposed to my hope of days and weeks. But if we can work out the ratio of pain patches/cream, and medication quickly then I will be starting along the road. I had my operation one year ago yesterday.
