Stairway to heaven.

Boring I know, but all day yesterday in the garden, cuts, bruises, culminating in a bonfire, part 1.

Today, I spent most of the day painting our stairs. taking up the carpet and replacing the same day (thanks to quick-drying gloss) before finishing up breaking down the trunk of yesterday's Pyracantha, for part 2 of the bonfire.

Blisters burst. Cuts re-opened by new cuts. Bruised thumb from a misbehaving hammer. Hands covered in paint.....and I'm off up the wooden hill! Heaven.
