End of the Trail

I built this RC car about 12 years ago. It was a lot of fun to make and use. It's also one of the many things that I've lugged around with us as we have moved from place to place over the years. Each time Kim has asked me, "Do you really want this?". And I always reply, "Of course!". But today, alas, I am finally getting rid of it. As much as it pains me, I really don't get to use it at all. Just no time for hobbies - apart from photography.

I also put a lot of time into model helicopters two years ago, but that too has become a distant memory as time and opportunity have diminished. Sad really. I love building stuff. It's times like these that I wish I had a son. Of course, that's assuming he would also be into building things.
