Sunday blues

Alex and Callum have gone to Iceland for a few days with Gran and grandad to do whale watching and all sorts of adventurous activities - lucky boys !
This means that my brood has halved and our house feels quite empty without my lovely big boys , I felt particularly sad as I knew Callum was a little anxious to be away from me for a few days but he did what Callum does and put a brave face on and let his excitement to go away overcome his nerves about being away from me, brave boy.
I am using the time whilst they are away to try and master a new skill - cake pops !
I love to bake cupcakes for the kids and have perfected my icing over the last year so fancied a new challenge , one which is proving difficult .
The photo is my first attempt at a pig lol I WIL get better and practise makes perfect !!
