The honey bees and bumble bees love this single layered dahlia which grows in a sheltered sunny spot in the garden.
This single flower broke off the plant while I was gardening in the cool evening temperatures yesterday.
 
Another four monarch butterflies emerged this morning and were released this afternoon. As I write they are still fluttering around the garden.
 
I am amazed at all the stars, hearts and lovely comments left for yesterday’s blip. Thank you everyone for putting this Monarch on the front page of the popular pages.
